Snooze Hotel

We lucked out and got a view with a view of the ocean. Stunning! This place is super affordable and centrally located. We stayed for a night before a cruise and it was perfect for that. Our room was nice, although some things could be fixed and upgraded. For example, there were several chips in the floor and the doormat was very dirty/dingy. As others have stated, the floor is very slippery. I assume it is the humidity, but this could be dangerous for older people. The couch looked like it had seen better days too. There were ample windows, but only one had shades, the others just had curtains, which let in light, so bring a sleeping mask. The street noise is loud, but the room has a white noise machine, which we appreciated. We would definitely stay again before our next cruise!

What an amazing find! Matt went above and beyond, I was able to check in very early and to relax on the gorgeous rooftop terrace while I waited. The location is perfect, very clean and safe, and quiet at night. I highly recommend getting the deluxe king room with ocean view - the view was breathtaking! Definitely wake up to watch the sunrise in the morning. Walking distance to everything, including a large CVS for basic groceries/supplies.

We came to stay back in November and I forgot to post my review, but we are about to book to come back! The location was super nice, the people working there were so sweet and amazing and the rooms were super clean! I was worried because I saw some other reviews, but honestly think those people must be extremely picky and looking for things to complain about, because we couldn’t find anything to complain about the entire time. 10/10 recommend

I recommend Fort Lauderdale’s Snooze Hotel based on its price & location. The Snooze is a two star 19 unit motel built in the 1950s off of Highway A1A right across from the beach. Public balconies from the roof and second floor have excellent views of the ocean. The main desk is manned during normal business hours. Rooms are cleaned daily. If you’re on a budget, this is a good pick.

We booked Snooze for an overnight stay before flying out of Fort Lauderdale and chose it because of the location with easy access to the beach and restaurants within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised that when we got there not only did they upgrade our room to one of the suites with a beach view for free but they let us check in a few hours before check in time. We were so grateful to not have to carry luggage around and to be able to get settled. The room was fully stocked with amenities and they also had beach chairs, towels, sunscreen, and floaties available for free to use. The room was clean and inviting. We really enjoyed our stay here and would book again!

I would consider this a boutique motel since you enter each room via its own outside door. It’s in a excellent location, easily walkable to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The room (double king) was clean, well decorated and had a mini kitchen. The manager Matt was one of the best parts, very attentive via text even before we arrived. He’s definitely an asset. I would stay here again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely loved our stay at Snooze Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. The location couldn’t be better, just steps from the beach, restaurants, and everything we needed. The hotel was spotless and well-kept with thoughtful amenities that made our stay so comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the manager and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They allowed us to check our bags before our room was ready, had our room ready early for check-in, and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. Every interaction was friendly, accommodating, and genuine. Our entire experience was pleasant and stress-free. Even as we checked out, they made sure we knew exactly which port to Uber to for our cruise. It’s rare to find this level of hospitality and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Fort Lauderdale.

If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay on the beach look no further than the Snooze Hotel. It’s not a resort by any means, but perfect for a short trip, or a night before a cruise. The street noise is loud because the door is not well insulated, it’s by no means perfect but it’s what you’d expect for a smaller hotel.

We got this hotel because it was LITERALLY ACROSS THE STREET from the beach (1 min walk?), we got a free upgrade to a 2 king sized bed + kitchen. Super cute room!! Only complaint is that the bathroom sink is super small, I'd love it if they'd had a mirror at the desk outside the bathroom for doing makeup because the bathroom was just really small, but that's my only complaint. They have this wave machine on and omg I had such a good sleep with it on, it helped me sleep! The staff was absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond! He's also the guy you call if you need anything and he said you can call him day or night, even after closing and that's so wonderful. He's super kind and you can just tell he genuinely loves people. He recommended the food place to the left of this hotel and it was so good! He was so happy to answer any and all questions too! Super easy check in, he was very clear about all his instructions! Very organized! We got to check in at 1:30pm which is unheard of (without even asking for an early check in) they just text you when the rooms ready. When we checked out I had a post card and before I could even ask about it he asked if I wanted them to mail it he read my mind. He's incrediblely kind. We were able to store our luggage before and after checkout with zero hassle. There's tons of things you can grab and use like beach towels, floaties, and a bunch of beach stuff, we only used the towels but it's so nice of them to offer free of charge (I think the only thing they charge extra for was $10 for an umbrella . 10/10 would stay there again!

Cozy affordable boutique hotel option directly across the street from the beach. Matt provided a warm welcome with great recommendations for the area. Our room was clean and spacious and the area was quiet and safe. Our room didn’t have a great view, however the rooftop view was amazing. The parking is tight, however we had no issues with our mid-size SUV. We enjoyed Casablanca Cafe for dinner and Tinta’s for breakfast, both excellent choices within walking distance with many other options in the area as well. It was a short stay for us, but we would stay again.
